A human rights lawyer, Inibehe Effiong, has called for former IRT head, Abba Kyari to be extradited to the United States to face prosecution for his alleged role in a $1m fraud allegedly perpetrated by internet fraudster, Ramon Abbas, popularly known as Hushpuppi. Effiong made this call while speaking on Channels TV on Tuesday. According to Effiong, the fresh allegations levelled against Kyari by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency should see him dismissed and extradited to the US.

Former Nigeria’s president Olusegun Obasanjo has spoken about the certificate controversy rambling WASC certificate of the presidential candidate of the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) General Muhammadu Buhari (retd). Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, on Wednesday, remembered the helicopter crash he was involved in alongside other top political officials in Kabba, Kogi State, three years ago. The crash which could have cost Osinbajo his life happened on February 2, when he was traveling for the 2019 election campaign. The Vice President while reacting to the incident noted that the day would have been remembered as a day of sorrow. Osinbajo said, “It would have been remembered as a day of sorrow because of the helicopter crash on February 2, 2019, involving me and eleven others.
